Anxiety / Stress Counselling

I specialise in supporting people with high levels of anxiety, stress, or performance anxiety, who live feeling fearful or like an ‘imposter’. Many of us can be deeply influenced by our wounds from the past and our fears for the future. Extreme stress and anxiety can cause panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder or difficulty in social situations.

Why Anxiety / Stress Counselling?

I use different approaches and tools depending on what fits best for you. Here’s what you can expect from counselling for anxiety with me:

Exploring the underlying issues and beliefs which are creating the anxiety. Identifying any trauma imprints which are contributing to the anxiety and healing the impact of these on their present.

Understanding what the anxiety is signalling and how to overcome the symptoms of anxiety and OCD. Managing anxiety and panic attacks using cognitive tools. Empowering clients to self-regulate their emotions and nervous system response to stress and anxiety.

I offer techniques from many modalities, such as Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as somatic/body approaches like EFT (tapping). So clients can integrate a sense of feeling ‘safe inside’ to achieve deep and lasting change.
